I called them on a cold Saturday i. Dec around 11am. They got there by 130 and by 135 it was fixed. Just a reset on the furnace. I inquired how much my service call fee was and they said, don’t worry about it!! Who the hell does that anymore?? Many thanks for the quick service and I’ll be saving your number as you will always be my 1st call with future furnace issues. If I could give higher than 5 stars, I would.

Last summer, I trusted a friend’s brother’s company to replace our AC, but when I tried to use it this May during the heat wave, it didn’t work — and they refused to fix it… Long and bad story! With pets at home and an upcoming vacation, I urgently needed a working AC. I got several quotes from different companies, but the sizing recommendations were all over the place, which left me frustrated and unsure what to do. A friend recommended AJ Furnace, saying they’re known for solid workmanship and proper certifications, which gave me more confidence than just reputation alone even though the company has only been around for a few years. Leon answered my call in the morning, understood my concerns, and came by that same evening. He gave advice with no hard sell, and the price was fair. My husband also felt Leon was trustworthy and straightforward, which made us more comfortable choosing his company — even though their labour warranty is shorter than some other companies. In the end, my husband decided to replace both the AC and our still-working furnace (22 years old) together to avoid future compatibility issues. Despite heavy rain on installation day last Saturday (Jun 21), Leon and his team completed the job as promised. We’re happy and relieved, everything finally feels taken care of the right way. After they left, I noticed some air coming out from between the coil and the back of the furnace. I messaged Leon, he immediately followed up with Jarod, who was responsible for that part. Leon then explained that because the Lennox furnace and coil are designed as one integrated unit, Jarod didn’t feel there was significant air leakage and chose not to apply foil tape for aesthetic reasons. But to give me peace of mind Leon still arranged for Tommy who was part of the installation team to stop by that same Saturday night to seal it even though it wasn’t really necessary I really appreciated that extra effort It was a real sign of genuine customer care! He also arranged for a City electrical inspection, as the previous company hadn’t done the job properly, and registered the Lennox warranty for us. Overall, very professional and reliable service. Highly recommend!

This is a long overdue shout-out for Leon and his team at AJ Furnace. Back in July we were shopping for a heat pump to help with cooling our home during our heat spells we seem to be getting more frequently in Calgary. Leon was very helpful in explaining how heat pumps work and gave us a great quote on the correct size heat pump for our home. He did not use any pressure tactics or have any extra service plans you have to sign up for. Just plain and simple price that was very fair. We had that heat pump installed mid July and enjoyed a much cooler home. We love our new heat pump and Ecobee thermostat that Leon recommended. Leon came out today to do a furnace inspection/tune-up. Booking appointments is always easy and we don’t have to wait too long for service. As always he was punctual, very professional and knowledgeable. I appreciate that he always answers my questions and shows me things about our systems. We have booked a duct cleaning with them and look forward to AJ Furnace being our go to service provider in the future. We highly recommend them!

Furnace stopped working on a cold day. They came within the hour and replaced part. Price was good, technician was friendly and professional. I am very satisfied with their service. I will definitely use them again.

He was prompt, polite, knowledgeable, and provided a lot of helpful information about maintenance of my furnace and humidifier and options to either do it myself or call the company for support. Excellent service! I reached Leon for an urgent furnace failure late afternoon on a freezing day. He showed up within one hour and patiently inspected the unit, spend time buying parts and filter, and found the cause and fixed it. His charge is very fair! Highly recommend!

I had a duct cleaning appointment with AJ. The team was on time and they cleaned all the ducts very thoroughly and restored everything perfectly. It was really cold today but the team still did everything carefully and didn’t rush through anything. Highly recommend!
